Magdalena Nowicka Mook, ICF CEO, in her latest podcast, interviewed personal branding guru, William Arruda on how to 'supercharge your personal brand.'

The 3 Cs that matter in personal branding for coaches

In the podcast that can be watched here, Arruda focused on 3 Cs ( among the ten Cs devised by him to track your personal branding). These are clarity, consistency and constancy.

Clarity in personal branding

Coaches should be clear about their USP while building a personal brand. About their unique approach to coaching, and the audiences they help. Arruda says clarity allows coaches today who they are and who they are not. This allows clients to clearly pick the coach they want, and that could be you.

Consistency in personal branding

Coaches need to be consistent about who they are as a coach. This is especially important in a young coaching industry like India where people are just starting their journey as coaches. There is a temptation to be all things to all clients. While it is good to evolve and even expected to evolve as a coach, to keep changing your USP as a coach will affect your personal brand's credibility.

Constancy in personal branding

While planning to be consistent, it's important to not disappear. If you plan to post on social media, for example, do that regularly. As per Arruda, "Strong brands are constant—always visible and available to their customers and prospects. They don't go into hiding." They are always present for their target audience.
